The new Shiftmove platform connects digital fleet management solutions
Berlin, August 6th, 2025 – Two years after the merger of market leaders Avrios and Vimcar, Shiftmove is now also connecting its portfolio of digital fleet management solutions on a technical level: With the new Shiftmove platform, fleet data can, for the first time, be managed centrally and across systems. For example, odometer readings from digital logbooks are automatically transferred into the fleet management software, and pool vehicle bookings made via a driver app are directly assigned to the corresponding logbook trips. By tightly integrating various fleet solutions, Shiftmove helps companies minimize sources of error in day-to-day fleet operations and streamline processes – reinforcing its position as the technology leader in digital fleet management.
Connected systems instead of data silos
Today, fleet managers often work with a multitude of specialized tools – often up to eight at the same time – but the lack of interfaces leads to duplicate data entry, error-prone information, and inefficient processes. This is where the Shiftmove platform comes in: it connects Avrios’ fleet management software with Vimcar’s solutions, such as the digital logbook and GPS tracking. Vehicle and driver data are managed centrally in a single system, with updates automatically synchronized across all integrated applications.
The result: economically efficient management of the entire fleet – with less effort, fewer errors, and more well-informed decisions based on reliable data.
“With the Shiftmove platform, we’re enabling seamless use of our fleet solutions through a single, centralized interface for the first time – creating tangible added value for our customers through intelligent integration,” explains Felix Schmidt, Shiftmove’s Chief Product and Technology Officer.
“In the first half of 2025 alone, the number of customers using multiple products simultaneously has increased fivefold. That clearly underscores the success of our platform strategy.”
Technology leader with a clear mission
Shiftmove is leveraging software and artificial intelligence (AI) to fundamentally rethink fleet management – as a technology-driven company rooted in digital innovation rather than hardware. The company is pursuing a clear goal: by 2027, Shiftmove aims to become Europe’s leading provider of digital mobility solutions and to increase the efficiency of more than one million fleet vehicles.
Integration across borders
The company is also continuing its expansion in France, with the addition of Optimum Automotive in October 2024. Since July 2025, the AI-powered fleet management software Avrios has also officially been available in the French market. With cutting-edge technology and real-time vehicle data, Shiftmove aims to disrupt industry standards in France as well, and pave the way for a profound transformation of the sector.
